From small beginnings through to the end – yet still at the start!

Today this e-learning course is virtually over, and what a learning curve! I said right at the start that it would be a vertical learning curve for me and it sure has been! The steepest ever!

One of the problems that I now face is the fact that the more I learn and understand the more I realise there is to learn – it goes on forever! So, for me at least, this is just the beginning of a long, and hopefully fruitful, learning journey!

And so far I have learned heaps! I have also found a way forward not only for me but also for my school. For me there is the continual learning and development through discussions, readings, workshops and conferences, and for the school, a progression of teaching and learning skills through the use of one of our existing facilities.

Like I said, there are still a lot of readings for me to indulge in, and links to journals that, before the course, I knew nothing about. These will keep me up to date and show me ways forward in the future. And there is still a lot for me to experiment with – podcasting for example, I never did get round to that – yet – I will.

All in all a great experience, one that I was so sceptical about at the beginning, but one that I am now so glad I invested time, energy and money into. Thanks to all involved.
